They were great! I couldn't stop listening to them, every opportunity I got- in the car, at work, even at night in bed for a bit before going to sleep! Yeah, Yellowface I'd been seeing in the Audiobook store for at least a month and I was interested, but was having trouble picking my next book as usual, like a kid in the candy store, and then I got all wrapped up in Sharon Sala's books and Lisa Jewell's, so it took time to wrap up the two series. It was well worth the wait, though. Very thought-provoking. It felt kind of like how I always feel watching mob movies, or watching Breaking Bad, you're just kind of waiting for, and wanting them, to fail, because they're not really good people, lol. (In BB I was totally rooting for Hank, the BIL who works for the DEA, the whole time, not Walter White, lol!) Above all of my March reads though, I would recommend Go As a River and Gravity is the Thing the most.

Yes, same! I had no idea she lived abroad for a time, too! Yeah, I think she actually did use her diary, didn't she? It was so cool to read about it all behind the scenes. There were some things about the revival (not the whole thing overall though) that bothered me as a fan, probably as much as it bothered other fans, but remembering that it was the same people behind it all, and the same care and attention was paid to it behind the scenes by Amy Palladino and the actors and actresses, etc., helped me after the fact, listening to her book. That and Scott Patterson's podcast, that I'm slowly listening to. (Oh! I think that was what reminded me that I wanted to listen to her book, it's coming back to me! Because for a short while when it was really cold out, I listened to a few episodes, and then I started this journey with audiobooks, starting with hers.)
